Chemin des Bateaux beach and Sainte Cécile Beach are supervised every day of the week from 2 July to 31 August, from 12pm to 7pm. On 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26 June and 3-4 and 10-11 September, from 12pm to 6pm. Supervision is carried out from the aid station, over a perfectly demarcated swimming area between two blue flags. The coloured flags inform the swimmers of the supervision conditions of the demarcated section:
- Green flag: supervised swimming
- Orange flag: swimming is supervised but dangerous
- Red flag: swimming prohibited
- No flag: no supervision, the aid station is not open
Animals are prohibited in the swimming area, excluding service animals for persons with a disability, all animals, even on a leash, are prohibited on the beach, in the supervised swimming area (between the two blue flags). The owners of the animals will risk a fine if they disobey the municipal decree referred to here. Equipment The Monitoring Station is equipped with a TIRALO (wheelchair permitting sea access with aid) and a hippocampus (wheelchair permitting autonomous sea access). This equipment is available on request during normal opening times. Free toilets and showers are accessible next to the Aid Station (more free public toilets at the entrance to the esplanade).
